for everyone

Looking back during high school years, I have this teacher who I admire most. In one glance at her, you wouldn't think that she has that impressing brain because she was not gifted with an impressing height. :)

During our first lecture, I thought that she will be another boring teacher just like what other physics teachers are. But she proved me wrong. I enjoyed her class especially when she give activities like games and mind boggling exercises. She reached my expectations making me like her. She makes learning fun and exciting. She helps us find areas of interest to explore and master. She helps us see new things as stimulating challenges rather than dreaded obstacles.

But one thing that I don't like about her is the way she treat us students. It's just that fairness is not in the air. She only points out her “favorite” students. I believe that teachers should give equal chances to her learners, giving each student the chance to recite so that she could give fair grades. There should be an honest communication between the students and the teacher. Another violation to the “hallmarks” of good teaching that I noted is her unwillingness to commit her error. I know that she's an intellectual mentor but it doesn't mean that she couldn't commit lapses. It's very obvious but, still, pride doesn't want to lose the competition.

But despite all that, I feel proud to be one of her students. I am a part of her, and she was a part of my growth that molded me to be a good student.
